Pro is $9 a month, and the first 14 days are free. Shopify bills it on your usual Shopify invoice.

Keep customer data for

days

Personal data is retained while a payment dispute is open, and for 365 days after it is finalised (never fewer than 90 days, because an issuer can reopen a decided case through arbitration). After that the personal data is erased and only non-identifying outcome data is kept: reason code, amount, currency, and whether the dispute was won or lost.

You are always told when a chargeback opens and when Shopify has answered for you. These are the reminders in between.

Sent 3 days and 24 hours before Shopify answers — and not sent at all once your response is ready.
